Chinese Elm Bonsai Tree, 12" Semi-Cascade in Training Pot
Chinese Elm Bonsai Tree
This live Chinese Elm is listed as an eleven-year-old specimen with a thick zig-zag trunk and a semi-cascade form. The canopy extends to one side above a rectangular plastic training pot. Continue refining its shape as it grows.
Give the tree ample light and air circulation. Water when the soil surface begins to dry, allowing excess water to drain. Plan its placement and seasonal care according to your local climate rather than assuming an indoor desk or bedroom shelf is suitable long term.
Like any live plant, its appearance may change with growth.
